Welcome and thank you for visiting New School Records on the web. We are an independent rock/punk record label located in Oregon City, Oregon. We formed the company in early 1998, with a simple mission to help bands get their music heard by a new audience. We work with bands of the "punk" genre; Be it pop punk or hardcore punk - We don't care! If we like the music and the individuals that make the band, we'll work with them.

In early 2000, we really kicked things off - Investing a countless number of hours and a large sum of money into getting educated with the knowledge we need to successfully manage the company. We have built strong relationships with many other record labels, distributors and retailers worldwide and have their full support.

New School Records is probably most known for its Shut The Punk Up! compilation series, featuring many popular acts, including NOFX, Strung Out, Yellowcard, Good Riddance, Thrice, The Bouncing Souls, Pulley, Voodoo Glow Skulls and many more. We also have a very popular label sampler titled, Punk Off!, which features album and unreleased tracks by all our current artists.

If you would like to contact us, please first read the FAQ's and contact pages. If you are in a serious band that works hard, frequently tours, self promotes, etc, and are looking to get national exposure, please send us a demo/presskit. We obviously can't work with every band, so the worst we will do is give you constructive critisum.
